Welcome to Stalingrad, a display typeface which is decidely different and out of step with the times. To install, use the Font/DA mover to install the screen font in your system folder. Then drag the file with the happy type face into your system folder. Do not rename it.
How does a small type developer compete with the giant typeface companies? I have given this question a lot of thought over the past year. I cannot beat their service of quality. I cannot match their promotion or advertising or packaging. The only clear advantage I have is in cost. My costs are a sliver of theirs. Hence it seems to me that I must position myself at the low-priced end of the market.
The result of this reasoning is a 25-4-25 introductory special: if you pay your "shareware" fee of $25., I will send you twenty five of my display PostScript typefaces for the Macintosh. I will honor this offer through June 1990, and then re-evaluate it. (If it does not work, I will search for other strategies. If you can think of any clever way to market typefaces, I would like to hear about it. Do not bother suggesting shareware--reading the shareware notes on shareware typefaces indicates it does not work.)
